This year-long series of short, interactive talks will feature scientists and leaders who are shaping the future of Canadian energy. Talks will feature unique insight gained on the leading edge of energy innovation.
We’ll kick off this series on February 16th with discussion of new (and previously overlooked) opportunities for geothermal energy. Upcoming topics will include CCUS, solvent innovation, and more. Participants will directly shape this series by choosing future topics to explore.

New geothermal technologies are opening up greener opportunities in Alberta and the oil sands. Innovative strategies such as enhanced geothermal systems, supercritical geothermal, geothermal co-generation and heat recovery from late life SAGD operations are highlighting new potential.
The end result is that green geothermal heat and electricity are now possible in areas that were previously overlooked.
