CRIN and geoLOGIC systems invite you to join this interactive and collaborative workshop where we will explore barriers to innovation and technology development in heavy oil extraction. Using breakout rooms to enable candid and lively discussion, participants will share their perspectives on industry needs, and they will discuss challenges, solutions, and what can be done to accelerate innovation. This workshop will be invaluable to those working in heavy oil, but also to regulators, technology developers, researchers, academia, industry associations, and students and young professionals who want to learn from industry experts.
Following the event, geoLOGIC systems will prepare and circulate a white paper summarizing the challenges and barriers, and the promising solutions discussed.
