Interested in the Water Technology Development Centre?

June 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

The WTDC is a first-of-its-kind demonstration site for oil sands companies to test water treatment technologies on a commercial scale. The $140M capital project, convened under COSIA with joint industry partners Suncor, Canadian Natural Resources, Husky and CNOOC, completed construction in 2019. It is connected to Suncor’s Firebag facility, where it provides convenient, reliable access to live process fluids allowing operators to accelerate the development of clean technologies.
