DESCRIPTION:CSEG – CHOA Joint Symposium\nCARBON NEXUS: Subsurface and Commercial CCUS Strategies\n2024 February 6 – Hudson – Calgary \nREGISTER HERE\nThe Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (CSEG) in conjunction with the Canadian Heavy Oil Association (CHOA)\, are excited to announce their second joint Symposium in February\, 2024. \nThe event will provide a wide variety of talks on topics such as carbon capture injection considerations\, measuring and monitoring and verification technologies (MMV)\, injection reservoir characterization\, project viability and approvals and 4D plume monitoring considerations. \nGeoscientists as well as engineers will learn more about the challenges\, solutions and technological advances of the rapidly evolving Carbon Capture and Underground Storage (CCUS) industry in Canada and around the globe. \nThe Symposium is scheduled for February 6th\, 2024 and will be held at the Hudson Loft in downtown Calgary. Highlights will include 8 technical talks\, a lunchtime keynote speaker as well as a post conference networking event at the end of the day.
