Currently a Managing Director and Head of the A&D Advisory team integrated within the Energy group of BMO Capital Markets, focused on energy coverage and execution.

Roman previously worked at Goldman Sachs from 2014 to 2022 to build and develop the newly created Technical Acquisitions & Divestitures team in Calgary. This team worked closely with the Houston A&D team within the Global Natural Resources Group of the Investment Banking Division across different jurisdictions and cross-border projects. He ultimately co-headed the Goldman A&D group and was involved in a large number of energy transactions over a ~9 year period at GS.

He was previously involved in the field of reservoir/petroleum engineering across ~9 years at GLJ, including corporate and property reserves and economic evaluations, unconventional resource reviews, reservoir performance optimization and exploration prospect analysis. He was primarily focused on tight oil analysis throughout Canada and the United States (Cardium, Viking, Bakken, etc) and worked in GLJ's Emerging Business Group with an emphasis on junior, high-growth E&P client relationships.

Roman also previously served in an advisory role as a Director with a Calgary based O&G software analytics firm.
